Cochins

These large docile chickens walk around looking like they are wearing feathered pajama pants. Cochin Chickens are known for their very soft feathers and fluffy appearance. They have a profusion of long, soft plumage that makes them seem larger than they actually are. Cochins have round bodies, a single comb, and feathered feet. They lay around 2-4 brown or tinted eggs per week. Cochins are very broody and are often used to hatch out fertile eggs from other birds.

We have multiple colors of cochins being hatched every year. This is our light splash. We also have dark blue, light blue, dark splash, white and black.
